Residential Support Staff- Two full time position available to assist in providing self-care training and therapeutic treatments to residents with mental illness at our Gouverneur location.  Responsibilities include educating residents on positive behaviors and life skills to promote social interaction. Observing and documenting residents’ behaviors to help facilitate assessment of treatment goals. Shifts vary to include some overnights and weekends.  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; related experience and/or training in the mental health field preferred. Relief Residential Support Staff - Opportunity to acquire experience in the mental health field. As needed positions available in our adult program in Gouverneur, Clayton and Watertown as well as in our adolescent program in Watertown. Candidates will be expected to cross train in both adults and children’s programs. High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree and experience in Human Services preferred. $10.00/hr.Shifts may require weekends and overnights.  Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
